Important Announcement

The Arizona Rental Assistance Program is coming to an end.  Effective September 1, 2024, rental assistance will no longer be available through the DES Arizona Rental Assistance Program. Applications for rental assistance received on or before August 31, 2024, will be processed under current program guidelines. 

Utility assistance through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and emergency housing assistance through the Short Term Crisis Services (STCS) program will continue to be available for eligible applicants.  

If you are participating in our diaper assistance program and have received assistance for six (6) consecutive months, you will need to reapply using the tab below and will have to be reassessed for eligibility requirements.

Important Information

While we work to process assistance requests quickly, we cannot guarantee speed due to factors beyond our control. Please stay in contact with your landlord about your situation and consider calling 2-1-1 for additional help.

The Glendale Community Action Program provides financial assistance for those facing a temporary crisis that impacts their ability to meet basic needs. Eligibility varies by funding source, and our specialists will assess your situation to determine the best fit.

Note: Program availability and deadlines depend on our funders. Submitting an application does not guarantee assistance.

Helpful Tip: Some homes with a Glendale mailing address may receive services from another city or Maricopa County.
