Summer Reading 2020: Imagine Your Story

Imagine Your StoryThe temperatures are above 100, the kids are out of school, and it's time for summer reading! Glendale Public Library is proud to offer "Imagine Your Story," Maricopa County's 2020 Summer Reading Program for all ages, from June 1-August 1.  

Designed to maintain and improve literacy skills throughout the summer, the program allows participants to earn points, unlock badges, and win prizes by logging their reading and community experiences online!  Prizes will include coupons for Peter Piper Pizza (up to age 11) and Raising Cane’s Lemonade (all ages), plus a free book, with more prizes to be announced. Don’t forget, arts and crafts, musical performances, book discussions, storytimes and more await you through the library’s amazing line-up of online virtual summer programming!  Visit the library’s online calendar of events and our Library@Home page to find out more.  

In addition, every week during the months of June and July, summer reading participants will gain streaming access to new programs, including storytelling, magicians, craft and cooking workshops, musical performances, and more! Follow the steps below to access these free events.
