At this stage, you can only request books from the MAX catalog.
You can have up to five MAX requests on your account at any one time. This total includes not only MAX requests which have not yet arrived, but also any MAX items you currently have checked out.
If you have received an error message about circulation parameters, the most likely reason is that all copies are checked out from participating libraries. You can only request MAX titles with available copies. If all copies of a title you want are checked out, you can check back later and request it when one becomes available.
You can request items not included in the MAX catalog through our
interlibrary loan service.
You will receive a notification by email or text message when your MAX request is ready for pickup. You can also
check your account online to view the status of your request.
You can find most MAX requests on the library's regular holds shelf. If your MAX request isn't there, please ask at the library service desk. Some items must be checked out by and returned to a member of staff.
MAX items check out for three weeks.
No, MAX items are not eligible for renewal. You must return the item to the library within three weeks.
A flat fee of $20 will be charged for any lost or damaged MAX items.
